Resource stewardship is a central focus of the Choosing Wisely initiative and an important concept to reinforce early in medical education as its principles can be carried throughout a physician’s career. Choosing Wisely Manitoba has engaged the University of Manitoba, College of Medicine, medical students, residents and medical professionals to embed resource stewardship principles across undergraduate, post-graduate and continuing professional development.
